My first question is Also BTOG's question : But will they release it in France or in United Kindom ? Or will it only be a German release like the Viking expansion was for s2 10th anniversary.

There was no official info where the new game will be released so far, sorry.

But perhaps someone of the moderators of this forum could ask Ubisoft regarding that.

I'm here to support Sergio coz it seems that he needs help about english. I'm okay with this language.

First of all, I was really happy to see a remake of the excellent Settlers II. It was and it still be a pleasure to play to S2: The Next Generation.

So just for that, thanks bluebyte and ubisoft.

But where I'm really surprised and in the same time really disappointed is coz Sergio told me that an addon existed for S2:TNG but only in german! I mean the "Vikings" addon.

It's really a shame coz Settlers is one of my favorite game, I'm a veteran, I play to it since the first one... and I really don't understand why bluebyte didn't do an english version. I understand that it's maybe hard to translate in every language but in english dudes! It's the minimum. I already have a problem to find the "reply" icon in this german forum so imagine a whole game in german...

I saw too that there'll be a new addon "Aufbruch der Kulturen"... The only thing I really hope is that it'll be at least in english and there'll be in too the "vikings" addon!

I hope that We (sergio, me, and I'm sure some other people) will be more listened in this forum than in the english forum.

I don't know what to do... I could translate the french version from the english version for free if you want. I really don't care. The only thing I'd like to see is the "true" new Settlers games in english!

It's a pity that they haven't released the Vikings-Addon in other countrys than Germany.
But there's hope for "Aufbruch der Kulturen" ("Awakening of Cultures" like Ca3sarius once said). It's a full version and no addon.
So they make some bigger changes to the gameplay.

I don't know exactly why they did an only-german version...? They thought that only germans play to it? or they wanted to see if it works in germany and will do an internationale version after?

Weird weird...

Well regardless what language it is in, I'll buy it. SII 10th has been my favortie game since I got my hands on it, which is odd for me, theres just something very addicting about it, so Im already taking German language courses (and I suck at it) but I'll buy it in whatever language it comes out it, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what one must do in the SII games.
