I have played the game quite a bit. Have not checked how many hours latley. But I belive the game could be a little finderly to play. Get use to it is not the right thought. This is a building game ok but there are lots of things that just tick me off. when playing it is very hard for me to explain. because of my Age and health problems. the way I look at it is if you buy something and it is not right you should be able to get it fixed. Having to build and and keep building to make money is ok but the results are poor things just cost to much and the continued cost never will slow down. You go broke just trying to play the game and achive your goals. then the hard AI just destroys you.
I can't help thinking this sounds vaguely reminiscent of a stag party I went to once :P
Seriously though, I kinda know what you mean, although I must say that even fixing some of the more minor things in the game would make enormous differences. However, I also get the impression that Ubisoft are a bit embarrassed by the game, perhaps too emabarrassed to even fix it given the lack of feedback from the developers or support etc. Games that need to rely almost purely on community support, regardless of whether the main support isn't in one of the major languages on the planet or not, smacks of fail.
I loaded the game up last night after playing Borderlands .. I just sighed after an hour and thought what it could've been, and what it still could be with better support and a sensible patch not focused on 'rare occurances'. Oh well
I agree 100% and in 1701 they gave you some options to help you out a little by rename your warehouses. So far in this game nothing because Ubisoft made this game and didn't put those option in. I have been searching and there is a option you can use is called "artmoney". That will give you all the money you need.
I tried to get the artmoney to work but not much luck. mess up things so I had to re install anno 1404. I am having a ball kicking cardenal Lucus butt.
